SC Gourd Festival is a two day event, held April 26-27, 2024 at the Ghost Creek Gourd Farm in Laurens, SC. Festival hours are Friday 1-5 and Saturday 8-5
Attendees are reminded that for the safety of all attendees, Only Service Dogs will be permitted at the festival

**$5 of every class tuition fee is retained by South Carolina Gourd Society for expenses related to the Festival
Class applications will be accepted on a first come, first registered basis from February 12 until April 15. Class times (also listed on class details page) are Friday from 1-5, Saturday AM from 8-11:30, and Saturday PM from 1-5

2024 Make and Take
Adult Make and Take will again be offered Friday afternoon 1pm to 4pm, and
Saturday from 10-4pm. The Make-n-Take by Karen Hammond. Can be made as Key Ring or Necklace. Cost $5.00 and we will provide gourd, paint, beads and cord or key ring attachment. You'll be able to complete your Make and Take project in approximately 30 minutes of your time. Bring your friends and have some fun at the Gourd Fest.

Our Kids Make and Take is offered for Free. A Gourd Birdhouse will be waiting for you to paint and take home for the birds at your house using your imagination and creative skills. Offered Friday 1-5pm, and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
General Membership Meeting will occur at 12:30pm at the Festival.
1. The following expiring SC Gourd Society positions will be filled.
* President
- Each position, except for the Treasurer position will serve a two-year term, beginning May 2024.
- To submit a candidate for any of these openings, please do so by calling one of the Nominating Committee Members by March 30 to have the candidate added
to the ballot.

2. If you sign up as a new member for SC Gourd Society membership for 3 years at $40 at the festival only, you will receive an incentive.
* 1 year memberships are $15
* 3 year memberships (at the festival only) is $40 and will be given a free 1 year membership to the American Gourd Society. AGS membership includes 4 magazines (one per quarter).

The festival is actively seeking volunteers to help with key jobs at the Festival. To volunteer your time, please call or text Linda at 864-871-2315.
All attendees will be eligible to purchase $1 raffle tickets for tools, books & gourd art
Ghost Creek Gourd Fest Vendors will be providing a variety of gourd crafting supplies including wood burners, saws and sanders, as well as paints, inks, embellishments, clay Quikwood, and gourds. Finished gourd art and crafts will also be sold. In addition, this year, we will have a chain saw artist offering items for sale, and at least one live demonstration!
A Food Tent will again be available during the event. Friday 1-5 with snacks & drinks and on Saturday from 10-5 with snacks, drinks, and a Food Truck from 11:00 to 2pm. The food truck accepts Accept cash, credit card and debit card.
