SC Gourd Festival is a two day event, held April 23-24, 2021 at the Ghost Creek Gourd Farm in Laurens, SC. Festival hours are Friday 1-5 and Saturday 8-5

**$5 of every class tuition fee is retained by South Carolina Gourd Society for expenses related to the Festival
Class applications will be accepted on a first come, first registered basis from February 2 until April 15. Class times (also listed on class details page) are Friday from 1-5, Saturday AM from 8-11:30, and Saturday PM from 1-5

2021 Make and Take will again be offered on Saturday from 10am-3pm. Join us to make this fun colorful Tennessee spinner for $5.

General Membership Meeting will occur at 12:30pm at the Festival.
1. The following expiring SC Gourd Society positions will be filled.
* President
* Treasurer
* Publicity/Promotions (P.R)
- Each position will serve a two-year term, beginning May 2021.
- To submit a candidate for any of these openings, by March 30 call any of the
below Nominating Committee Members to have the candidate added to the
ballet.

2. If you sign up or re-register for SC Gourd Society membership ($12-1 year or save by registering for 3 years at $30) at the festival only, you will receive an incentive.
* 1 year memberships will receive SC Gourd Society gear (as supplies last)
* 3 year memberships will be given a free 1 year membership to the American
Gourd Society. AGS membership includes 4 magazines (one per quarter).

The festival is actively seeking volunteers to help with key jobs at the Festival. To volunteer your time, please call or text Linda at 864-871-2315.

NEW FOR 2021 - “Gourders Dream Basket” drawing open to all in attendance. Ticket purchase of $5.00 places your name in the drawing for one of the 2 Baskets to be given away at the 12:30 drawing. Tickets may be purchased before the Festival but arrangements need to be made for someone in attendance to pickup if you’re not there and your ticket is drawn. NO SHIPPING OR DELIVERY PROVIDED.
Basket 1 - Proxxon Saw (no transformer needed), Sander, Heatgun, 2 Gourds
Basket 2 - Woodburner, Dremel, Heatgun, 2 Gourds
All attendees will be eligible to purchase $1 raffle tickets for tools, books & gourd art
Ghost Creek Gourd Fest Vendors will be providing a variety of gourd crafting supplies including wood burners, saws and sanders, as well as paints, inks, embellishments, clay Quikwood, and gourds. Finished gourd art and crafts will also be sold.

A Food Tent will again be available during the event. Friday 1-5 with snacks and drinks. Saturday 10-5 with snacks, drinks, and lunch plates,

Member Sales Tent will feature SC Gourd Society artwork for sale. If you are a SCGS member and interested in providing art to be sold in the tent, the form on the member sales sub-menu tab is required to be completed PRIOR to arriving at the tent to check your items in.
